We got married at the Loch Ness Country House Hotel on 5th January 2018 after only deciding to take the plunge 12 weeks prior! I don’t think we could have or would have made the decision to do this with any other venue we visited; it was the enthusiasm from Lianne, their wedding co-coordinator and positive response from their Head Chef Adam that made us realise that this is the place we should get married.

From the minute we started planning our special day Lianne was on hand to help and despite my Husband and I working full time right through the whole process, communication with Lianne was great. Nothing was too much trouble and she answered all our questions quickly and kept us on the right track to make sure we didn’t forget things or missed anything.

I loved how as a venue it is so versatile when it comes to making it “our day” we were really able to decorate it and put our stamp on it.  From a female point of view finding somewhere that allows you to create your fairy tale is really important and Loch Ness Country House Hotel function room is a blank canvas to work with, Lianne was great at suggesting vendors to help create my vision and all the vendors we used found the team at Loch Ness House Hotel great to work with and so accommodating.

The food was nothing short of amazing, it was like Adam and his team read our minds, it visually looked stunning and so appealing and every single dish was amazing to taste. Every single guest complimented the food and how it was done; in fact one guest (who attends approx. 5 weddings a year due to work!) said it was the best wedding meal he had ever had!!  The choice was fabulous and the whole vibe of our meal was exactly how we had envisioned it and that was down to the quality of the food and how the team from Loch Ness Country House Hotel organized it.

Because of the time of year we were getting married we didn’t want the standard sit down three course meal we wanted something more relaxed and to fit in with our love of street food, so we had our hearts set on a street food style buffet but “posh” looking, we wanted it so that our guest could help themselves and as often as they wanted.  When we suggested this idea to other venues we viewed we had quite a negative response, “it not the done thing” or “that wouldn’t really work” quite disheartening.  Well to the other venues it did work, in fact fantastically and Loch Ness Country House Hotel nailed it.  We loved it.

Loch Ness Country House Hotel ticked every box for us, the location is convenient to Inverness, the grounds and gardens are beautiful and hotel accommodation is fabulous and all our family and guests loved their stay. We cannot thank the staff here enough for everything they did and for making our day as fabulous as it was.
